Sing of the eternal moment, caught
In lines of charcoal, verse, and song; in lines
Xeroxed each matinee and evening, rewrought
To pause for that one breath the river's flow,
Yielding the blissful agony of grace. To be the moment, yet be its instrument;
Willing it, yet lost in it; completely
One with it, then gazing aghast at its beauty …
