Labor ought not be like time in prison.
A laborer should find in work some pleasure,
Bloom and scatter seeds of lifelong friendship,
Organize each week of work and leisure,
Relishing their equitable division. Daily labor ought not be a hardship,
As conduct is the creature of condition,
Yielding gains and losses one can measure.
