Thirty-two is firmly wed to reason,
Having learned the disciplines of sense.
In science one finds satisfying rules,
Regulating geniuses and fools,
That lend to all an equal elegance,
Yielding fact regardless of the season.

There is, of course, the risk of arrogance
Which comes to those too certain of their tools,
Often taking due dissent for treason.
