Heritage is the music of life's dance,
Uniting generations in shared grace,
Gift of centuries of celebrants,
One that without care time will efface.
My life's passion was its preservation,
Organizing venues where it might
Re-engage another generation
As years of dancers dance into the night.
Let the past then be my legacy,
Even as the past passed down to me,
Serving not as writ, but inspiration.
