Barreling Along, I Stopped Awhile

Barreling along, I stopped awhile
And made my peace with much I would have changed.
Suddenly, I knew not who I was
With everything around me on its knees.
How beautiful! I thought. I think I'll stay.
But I went on, for there was much to do,
Until I crossed a range of inner mountains
And saw below the desert of my dreams.
