Alynna's the angel
I hold in my arms
Like a spirit not yet metamorphed to a self.
Yet anchored in life by my love unrestrained,
Needing my milk, that her flesh be maintained,
Not of Earth or of Heaven, she crosses that gulf
As her Eden gives way to fences and
farms.
