Tough to know you're in your prime. You've had
How many dreams, and now, for you, dreaming
Is not enough. Remember the need for sorrow.
Remember the beauty in time's passing. Tomorrow
The Earth itself will be a dream, and the mad
Years of hunger will dissolve into seeming.

Tough to know that it's your time. The sad
World waits like weathered stone for its redeeming.
Only remember: these are days you borrow.
