Catch the wind and turn it into power,
Catch the wind and turn it into song,
Catch the wind and turn it into glory,
Who will stand with me and catch the wind?

I am a windmill, alone in the wind,
Turning like the Earth beneath the heavens,
Turning like a dancer daring beauty,
Who will stand with me and catch the wind?

Turn the bitter millstone of your madness,
Turn the wheels within the wheels unseen,
Turn to put the wind into your harness,
Who will stand with me and catch the wind?

I am a windmill, alone in the wind,
Turning like the Earth beneath the heavens,
Turning like a dancer daring beauty,
Who will stand with me and catch the wind?

Grind the willing martyrs to your passion,
Grind the grain but also grind the bone,
Grind that all might eat who else would perish,
Who will stand with me and catch the wind?

I am a windmill, alone in the wind,
Turning like the Earth beneath the heavens,
Turning like a dancer daring beauty,
Who will stand with me and catch the wind?
