Forty-two surrenders to desire,
Opening the door to greet the wind.
Revelation ever comes unbidden,
The gift of sight to those who travel blind,
Yielding all a pilgrim might require.

To love is to go through an open fire,
Witness to what life one has been given
Only after fear is left behind.
